DHADAK 2 MOVIE REVIEW : remake, but its soul is not borrowed.

Dhadak 2 rewiew :'Dhadak 2' is a remake, but its soul is not borrowed.

As we all know, it is going to be released today on 1 August 2025, and what is going to be shown in the movie is going to win everyone's heart but the film is not having as much impact as the audience gets to see the movie

In the film you will see Tripati Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi who are in a lot of discussion about their work and Tripati Dimri who was earlier described as a national crush, is there, so the movie is also going to be liked by all the viewers and their fans

What is Dhadak and what is the Difference Between the 2?

As we know in Dhadak, a girl from a rich family falls in love with an ordinary boy and starts fighting with the society and keeps away from him, but in the end, she gets the revenge that her family took from her by killing her husband and child. Now in Dhadak 2, casteism and the insensitivity of society have been talked about—how a low-class student, Nilesh, falls in love with the daughter of a rich family, and the society does not accept him, and how he fights with casteism.

Dhadak 2 created the barrier of caste in love:

You're in Dhadak 2. Everyone knows that the movie deals with the problems of caste and society. Nilesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi) is a Dalit law student who is very serious about his dreams. Vidhi (Tripti Dimri) comes from a Brahmin family, open-minded but unaware of social barriers. The two meet in college and slowly fall in love.

๐Ÿง  This is not Dhadak; it is a document

If you have seen the first 'Dhadak,' then forget that there is a love story with the same colors here.

'Dhadak 2' is a remake, but its soul is not borrowed.

This is the Hindi adaptation of Mari Selvaraj's 'Pariyerum Perumal'—but 'one that has ground reality, not Karan Johar's glamour.

๐Ÿ‘ Performance: Killer silently

Siddhant Chaturvedi has squeezed himself into every frame. No strong dialogues, no loud acting—just truth and style.

Triptii Dimri is also excellent, but her character seems confused at times—perhaps intentionally. Because she herself does not know whether she is in love or melting.

๐Ÿ˜ข Cinema asks questions, does not answer
In one scene it is said:

"Agar woh dalit hota, to koi chhuta tak nahi."

This line knocks you out.

But perhaps the film is afraid of the impact of this line—because the impact disappears in the very next scene.

⚖️ Weaknesses? Yes, but the intention is clear

The same angle of the story is repeated again and again, which may make some people feel bored.

The track of Nilesh and student politics starts and then suddenly disappears.

The romantic angle, in which you don’t feel the love—you only see it.

๐Ÿ“‰ Box Office vs Real Impact

‘Dhadak 2’ sold only 18,000 tickets before its release.

Its collection was less in comparison to films like ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ and ‘Saiyaara,’ but the victory of this film is not in numbers but in perspective.

๐Ÿ”š Should you watch ‘Dhadak 2’?

If you are used to watching everyday masala films, then this film may tire you.

But if you are looking for stories that shake you from within, then definitely watch 'Dhadak 2.'

This film is not about dancing and singing, but about thinking and listening.

It does not force you to cry; it just gives you a mirror in which you can see yourself too.
